As a lawyer in private practice prior to becoming a Mediator, Mr. Daisley represented individuals and consumers as well as small, large and multi-national businesses and insurance companies. Mr. Daisley’s commercial experience includes everything from contract disputes resolved without ever going to court to complex multi-party commercial disputes litigated through trial and appeal in federal court. Mr. Daisley’s personal injury experience includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants. He has handled personal injury matters ranging from motor vehicle property damage claims to wrongful death cases. In insurance disputes, he has represented not only insureds but also insurance companies and insurance agents. In employment cases, he has worked for employers as well as employees. In real estate, he has handled matters for individuals, agents and brokers, businesses and government.
Mr. Daisley brings that extensive experience to his practice as a Mediator. The Florida Supreme Court has certified Mr. Daisley as a Circuit Civil Mediator. Mr. Daisley also is certified as a Federal Civil Mediator by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Daisley was born and raised just outside of Washington, D.C. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College at age 20 and Order of the Coif from the University of Virginia School of Law at age 23. Upon graduating from law school in 1983, he moved to Florida to enter private law practice with Holland & Knight. He has lived in Tampa ever since.
Mr. Daisley is married with four children. He serves as an officer for the Dartmouth Class of 1980. He is a certified Les Mills BodyPump instructor and each summer he guides a canoe trip in the northern Ontario wilderness with Camp Temagami.
