We offer discounted full-day and half-day flat rates. The flat fee rates include all time for: a) preparation; b) attendance at the mediation conference (until 1 p.m. for morning cases and 5:30 p.m. for afternoon and full-day cases); c) preparation of results reports to the Court; and d) preparation of post-conference memoranda to counsel and/or the parties.
Why might you consider a flat rate instead of the customary hourly rate? The flat rates: encourage pre-conference work towards the printer (the flat rate includes all prep time), discourage clock-watching during the conference and simplify billing for us and our clients. Last but not least, the flat rates are slightly less than the minimum hourly charges.
